Children & Teens
I enjoy working with children and young adults in life transitions. I treat children who suffer from anxiety and depression; and are victims of abuse.
In a supportive environment, we work together to discover your experiences and beliefs blocking you from meeting goals and living a life you value.
I offer you support for the personal growth of your family. My role would be to listen and ensure that you get the tangible results that you seek.
My practice is based on trust and relationships. Your health and growth is reliant on the health and growth of our work together. An APA’s Society of Clinical Psychology task force stated, “…the therapy relationship accounts for why clients improve (or fail to improve) at least as much as the particular treatment method.”

About My Practice
I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist who came to practice later in life and believe my life’s experience makes me a better therapist. I enjoy working with children, teens, families, and adults. I treat children who suffer from anxiety and depression and those that are victims of abuse, abandonment, and social emotional issues. I support Transgender & Gender Non-Conforming Clients. I also work with adults facing a life transition. This may be caring for an older parent, loss of a loved one, or a life threatening illness. These situations trigger a mixed bag of emotions that can be overwhelming.
I work with families who find themselves in conflict and unable to find resolution.
It is important for me to create a trusting and non-judgmental environment to give my clients time to unfold and be themselves. I use a variety of modalities. With children I use play and art therapy, role playing, and CBT. With adults and families, I look at patterns of behavior and thinking that prevent living life fully. Together we find your strengths to build self esteem and self-love.
I will welcome you with kindness, acceptance and compassion.
